1. Who we are

Rolling Bear Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu operates a martial arts academy at 870 Boulevard, Suite 4, Kenilworth, NJ 07033. References to “Rolling Bear,” “we,” or “our” in this policy mean Rolling Bear Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

2. Information we collect

When you submit an engagement or contact form, we may collect your first and last name, telephone number, email address, program interest, message, submission time, and follow-up history. Our inquiry dashboard may also contain internal status updates and notes created by authorized staff.

Our hosting, security, and analytics services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, approximate location, referring page, pages viewed, button interactions, request time, and security-verification results. We do not request payment-card information through the website inquiry forms.

3. How we use information

• To answer questions and recommend an appropriate BJJ or wrestling program.
• To schedule, confirm, and follow up on trial classes.
• To maintain inquiry status and communication records.
• To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
• To understand which pages, programs, and website actions help visitors find and contact Rolling Bear.
• To comply with legal obligations and protect Rolling Bear, our students, and visitors.

4. Calls, texts, and email

By submitting a website form, you agree that Rolling Bear may contact you by telephone, text message, or email about your request, a trial class, and relevant academy follow-up. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may ask us to stop promotional follow-up at any time by replying to the message or contacting us directly. We may still send necessary replies related to an active request.

5. Storage, access, and retention

Website inquiries are stored in a restricted server-side database and may also be delivered to Rolling Bear by email. Access to the inquiry dashboard is limited to authorized admin and staff accounts. Passwords are stored as one-way password hashes rather than readable passwords.

We retain inquiry and communication records for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage academy relationships, maintain business records, protect the website, and meet legal obligations. Administrators can delete inquiry records when they are no longer needed.

6. Service providers and external websites

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share or process limited information through providers that help us operate the website and respond to requests, including:

• Hostinger, which hosts the website, server-side database, and email functions.
• Google reCAPTCHA, which helps identify automated form submissions. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms apply.
• Google Analytics 4, which helps us measure website visits, page usage, trial-booking interest, form completions, phone and directions clicks, and other website interactions. Advertising personalization signals are disabled in our website configuration.
• Google Maps and YouTube, whose embedded content may receive browser and device information when loaded.
• Meta/Instagram, when you follow an Instagram link or interact with content connected to Instagram.
• BJJLink, when you choose a trial-class option and continue to its external booking page.

External services operate under their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information if required by law or when reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, or harm.

7. Cookies and similar technology

The public website may use browser storage or cookies required by security providers, Google Analytics, embedded services, and website functionality. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to distinguish visits and prepare aggregated usage reports. The private inquiry dashboard uses a secure session cookie to keep authorized users signed in. Third-party services may set or read their own cookies according to their policies.

You can limit cookies through your browser settings or use Google’s Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking optional cookies may reduce measurement accuracy but will not prevent you from reading the public website or contacting Rolling Bear.

8. Children’s information

Our programs serve children, but website inquiry and booking forms are intended to be completed by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly request personal information directly from children under 13 through the website. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact us to request deletion.

9. Your choices

You may ask to review, correct, or delete personal information you submitted, subject to information we must retain for legal, security, or legitimate business purposes. You may also withdraw from nonessential follow-up communications.
